B’desh HC orders Hindu leader’s release on bail BENGALURU l thursday l may 01, 2025 l `9.00 l PAGES 18 l LATE CITY EDITION A bench of Bangladesh High Court on Wednesday ordered the release of Hindu leader Chinmoy Krishna Das on bail, five months after he was arrested on a charge of defaming the country’s national flag. On October 31, a case was filed against Das and 18 others. A former ISKCON leader, Das was arrested at Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on November 25 last year.
